Indian Head Massage

The ancient Ayurvedic healing method of Indian Head massage has been practiced in India for thousands of years. The Ayurvedic approach to health and well being is prevention of disease and maintaining balance and harmony in the body and mind.

Indian head massage is not just confined to the head as one may presume, it includes  the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, forehead and face, all of which are vulnerable to stress. It provides a wonderfully relaxing holistic experience, stimulating and re-balancing your energy flow while releasing tightness in the neck and shoulders. The aim is to create a sense of calm and peace so the body and heal and balance.

The treatment takes place seated, fully clothed. The use of oil is optional and generally the massage is without oil so you can return to your day without the need to wash your hair.
